Saturday, June 9th Weed Pro took a break from the typical lawn care routine and celebrated their customers with Crushers Night at the Park, a evening of fun at the Lake Erie Crushers game.

Weed Pro Night Festivities

While the Crushers were on the losing end of a 7-0 decision, Weed Pro customers got to enjoy a beautiful Saturday night out at All Pro Freight Stadium with a $3 ticket discount.  Some of the evenings highlights included Weed Pro themed on-field games, and plenty of good food and friends.

Raising Money for a Great Organization

Weed Pro not only arranged a fun filled evening for it's customers, but we also raised hundreds of dollars for the Boy Scouts of America by holding a "carnival" with games and prizes.  Ballpark patrons were able to attempt to win prizes for a small donation to the Boy Scout organization.

Weed Pro Sweepstakes Grand Prize Winner: Connor Hensley

Weed Pro's Grand Prize Winner Connor Hensley was invited onto the field to throw out the first pitch of the Crushers/Grizzlies game, and also enjoyed receiving a brand new Crushers Jersey and Hat courtesy of Weed Pro.  Connor, son of Weed Pro Customer Therese Hensley got a thrill of a lifetime by taking part in the first pitch.  Only his second Crushers game, needless to say Connor is now a lifelong Crushers fan.

Weed Pro Sweepstakes Runner Ups

Weed Pro's contest also featured 4 runner ups that got to compete on the field during the game in two Weed Pro themed skill challenges for a chance to win prizes.  

In the first game, Weed Pro's Technician race, Kellen Prough (Son of Weed Pro Customer Jennifer) faced off against Nathan Holtzmier (Son of Weed Pro Customer Tammy).  The object of this contest was to put on a Weed Pro uniform at 1st base, race to 2nd and pick up a bag of fertilizer (actually a bag of sawdust!) and race to 3rd base to put the bag in a Weed Pro Spreader.  Kellen won the race, followed closely by Nathan.

In our second Weed Pro game, Anthony Cuevas (Son of Weed Pro Customer Tony) faced off against Chris Krupka (Son of Weed Pro Customer Frank), as they attempted to throw bugs into a Weed Pro house.  Anthony ended up edging out Chris to win the contest 3 bugs to 2.
