Dr. Jason Lamb & Indy (Weed Pro's Pet Safety Director)On this sunny afternoon both myself and our Director of Pet Safety, Indy, decided to take a break from her paperwork and visit Weed Pro customer, and her personal Veterinarian, Dr. Jason Lamb on his lawn in Avon Lake.

Weed Pro: So Dr. Lamb, how long have you been a Weed Pro customer?

Dr. Lamb: I've been a Weed Pro Customer for the past three seasons.

Weed Pro: Tell us a little about your day job, and who your favorite canine patient is?

Dr. Lamb: I received my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from THE Ohio State University in 2003, and I'm a Veterinarian at the Avon Lake Animal Clinic.  And of course my favorite patient is Indy!

Weed Pro: Why did you choose Weed Pro as your lawn care provider?

Dr. Lamb: I chose Weed Pro because I felt that you guys really understood what it would take to get my yard looking great.  Plus, safety is a major concern having a family, and I felt comfortable with the fact that all of your technicians are licensed, and fully trained to keep me, my family and my pets safe.

Weed Pro: Speaking of Pet Safety, we often get the questions, "Are Your Applications Safe for my Pet?  I hear that sometimes pets can get sick from fertilizer." So Dr. Lamb, tell us what is your experience with pets getting sick from fertilizer?

Dr. Lamb: Most of the time that pets have problems with fertilizer products is when the homeowner leaves fertilizer bags open in their garage, and the pet consumes a large amount of it.  Fertilizer can clump together in your pets digestive system, causing obstruction and puts the pets life at risk.

Weed Pro: So how do you keep you pets safe when dealing with fertilizer?

Dr. Lamb: By doing what I did.  Hire a licensed and trained professional. I know that Weed Pro is going to apply the right amount of product that is safe for me, my family and pets, so that we can go out and enjoy our yard after their done and not have to worry about anything.

Weed Pro: What has your experience been like with your Technician?

Dr. Lamb: It's a great relationship.  Brian has taken care of my lawn now for three years, and I feel that we are a "team" in making it look great.  After every application, Brian leaves me detailed notes and instructions on what I need to do to help keep my yard looking great. He provides me with detailed watering and mowing instructions, and takes the guess work out of it on my end.

Weed Pro not only provides lawn care in Avon Lake, but also serves the Greater Cleveland, Akron and Columbus Areas.
