Each year, thousands of motorcycles roar down the highway near Akron to help raise money for kids with Autism.  The 3rd Annual "Cops 4 Kids with Autism" took place this past July 7th, and Weed Pro was proud to be a part of it.  Not only do we provide lawn care for the Akron area, we make sure to give back to the community participating in events such as this.

This years event started at the Century Harley Davidson Dealership in Medina and ran all the way to the FOP Lodge #7 in Akron.  Besides being a great way to raise money for kids with Autism, the event featured poker, raffles, refreshments and a whole-lot of great food!

In addition to the money raised for kids with autism, the ride also raises scholarship funds for children of fallen officers.  Former police officer, and current Weed Pro employee, Todd Schill said, "These motorcycle rallies are a lot of fun, and a great way to give to some charities that truly need the money."  "Not only does this particular fund raiser provide money for kids with autism, but it also allows a child of a fallen officer to go to college when they might have not been able to go before it," Schill went on to say.
