Flea & ticks are parasites that feed off the blood of it's hosts (You & Your Pets).  During this feeding, infected blood can be transferred from pet to pet, human to human, causing diseases such as heartworm, lyme and others.  A strong prevention plan can limit the number of parasites, lessening the chance of being bitten.
