Every lawn has different needs, but every lawn owner has one How_To_Get_The_Best_Price_On_Lawn_Care.jpgthing on their mind when they are shopping for lawn care: price. Now days, lawn care can be pretty expensive and with catchy marketing phrases, it can be hard to know if you're getting a good deal or not. Here at Weed Pro, we want to protect your lawn and your wallet by helping you get the best value for your money. Read on for the top four ways you can save money on lawn care.

    1. Look at the details, not just the price- Make sure you are getting the best deal for your money and aren’t just enticed by the low price. For example, Company A offers a seven application program at $50.00 each, for a total of $350.00. Company B offers a program with seven lawn applications as well, but for $45 each, for a total of $315.00; in addition, five of the seven applications do not include fertilizer. Company B does not mention some of their applications don’t come with fertilizer, but have words like “site inspection” or “treat as needed.” It seems that Company B offers the better deal, but is it really a better deal to save the $35? No, because those two applications do not include fertilizer.
    2. Look for a program that offers more control products- For example, Weed Pro offers a pre-emergent crabgrass protection on both round 1 and round 2. Most competitors do not offer a 2nd pre-emergent protection method. This makes weeds less likely to appear and helps your lawn to remain healthy. If you compared the price per application, you would be getting more with this program from Weed Pro than its competitors. For more example of products and programs offered, check out our lawn care services page.
    3. Do they have a good reputation and are reliable- Your own time is very important and very valuable. Look at their reviews online and ask around your neighborhood to see if they are reliable, courteous, and are able to provide you with great service.  This is to avoid wasting time and money finding a new lawn care service provider.
    4. Do your research, it will pay off in the end- Doing your research and knowing the background on the company will save you money in the end. Here is the list of things you should research about the company before hiring them.
